The White House is situated on Clapham Park Road - a short walk from Clapham Common station (Northern Line).
The White House can justifiably claim to be a mainstay of the Clapham late night scene and a firm favourite with the South London party crowd.
Set over three floors, the venue features a ground floor nightclub and dance floor, with the main restaurant area, a first floor roof terrace perfect for sipping summer drinks in the hazy sunshine, a comfortable lounge, and two second floor private dining rooms holding 10 and 26 people respectively.
Drinks wise, they offer premium beers wine and spirits as well as a thoroughly modern, exotic and extensive cocktail list. On the terrace they serve Pimms, sangria and draught Kronenburg.
The White House is generically one of the best venues in Clapham. DJ's spilt over two floors with a members lounge on the third floor. The concensus is too make everyone feel at ease and with the new refurb and areas available to book such as the Sunken area and bamboo gallery, White House delivers on this.
Add to that a new promotions manager, forthcoming performances from Seb Fontaine, Cagedbaby, Terry Francis, Nicky Holloway & Chad Jackson to name a few. White House really is worth the 100yard trip up Clapham Park Road from the tube.
Don't believe the hype, make your own mind up, pop down or book a table.
Used to be a good place to hang out on the weekend, but off late notice trouble looming, and ststed by the previous reviewer the staff of lack off, are not very helpful. Going to start looking around for another hang out.
This place has gone downhill - the staff are surly and the crowd is terrible ,the music is ok if you like generic funky house but it feels oh so outdated ... Try Lost Society or the Loft for a decent night out in Clapham.
