Food lovely. But music too loud you cannot have a conversation. So sadly if I want a pizza I go to Francos in Brixton market where I can converse with my companions
I disagree on that man, it is a fantastic place, I don't think you know what you are talking about...
I must say that I was disappointed. After searching the web for a great place in Clapham for a get together with overseas friends I finally decided on Eco. The noise level was extremely high. We ended up yelling at the person directly across the table just to be heard, granted it was saturday night. Our waitress looked like she would have rather been anywhere but working and to get a smile out of her was a hard job! The food was fine. Nothing to write home about. Massive pizzas. Will share one next time! The salads do look delicious. The best part was the friendly smiles & farewells from the chefs on the way out. They made up for the lack of personality (which comes across as rudeness) of our waitress. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be back there anytime soon.
eco, my place always, innovative a great base for anything. I hear...there are more to come. Chiswick is the next? august/september. The ceasar is although well known one of my favourites, the sandwiches divine and the Porcini truffel oil, dribble. If I'm hungry and craving something, anything i'll come here. Good people great place. Eco best concept in town.

Eco on Clapham High St is good value. Sells Italian food (pizzas, pastas,etc). Gets pretty busy so you may need to book or turn up earlier. Nice atmosphere although some seem to think the place attracts too many 'trendies'. As long as the friends you're with are good company then who gives a ****e?
