The Loft
Situated on the first floor with a bird’s eye view of the hustle and bustle of Clapham High Street, The Loft has quickly established itself as one of South London’s favourite bar-restaurants.Brought to you by the team behind the award winning club Plan B in Brixton, Time Out recently described The Loft as "an altogether more grown-up enterprise". Combining a sophisticated dining experience in the restaurant and lazy lounging in the bar, they bring a fresh take on modern European cooking, award-winning cocktails and one of the best selections of international draughts and bottled beers in London.

If your purse is a little light, on Tuesdays they are doing 2-4-1 cocktails all night! All great news if you like a cocktail or two.
Was really impressed with this place. Nice clientele, delicious drinks and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.
This bar feels like it has just stepped in from Manhattan, yet it contains none of New Yorks snobbery. For either drinks after work or a weekend session, it has all you need - great service, delicious cocktails and extremely cool music.
Probably the coolest bar in Clapham and one of my fav in London. The cocktail list is very extensive and the barmen are always funny and up for a joke. The interior is modern, kid of big apple warehouse style and the clientèle is late 20 to late 30.
Been at the Loft many times and never been disappointed. I just love it; a wicked spot to hang out.

It seems like the best days of the loft are behind it. Its busy, too busy and service seems also to be on a downward spiral.
A victim of its own sucess there are now very long queues for expensive drinks. The bar's policy of allowing people to reserve the very few tables they do have, creates a situation where you are forced to stand in cramped surrounds with empty tables all around you.
Avoid on Thursdays and the weekend.
